The café

No bookings for groups under six — come in and take your chances like everyone else. For six or more, ring rather than email. I do not read email during service and you will not hear back until after three, by which point you will have eaten somewhere else.

We are open Tuesday to Sunday, seven till three, and closed Mondays. Public holidays we usually open and usually say so on Instagram the day before.

Studio hire

Email is better than phone for this, because it puts the date in writing. Tell me the date, whether you want a half day or a full day, and roughly what you are shooting — that last part is not nosiness, it decides whether the room suits you and occasionally I will tell you it does not.

Rates and what is included are on the studio page. I will send a deposit link; the booking is confirmed when that clears.

Advisory work

Email, with a paragraph about what is actually going wrong. Not a brief — a paragraph. “Our POS drops out every Saturday and the provider says it is our internet” tells me more than a two-page scope document, and costs you less to write.

I take four clients at a time. If there is a wait I will tell you how long rather than stringing you along, and if I think your problem is smaller than my minimum and you should just do it yourself, I will tell you that too and it will not cost you anything.
